Specifically designed to pump "unpumpable" products; such as dough, meat emulsion, puddings and cheese, that cause bridging and cavitation in conventional pumps. Six models feature inlet ports ranging in size from 7.13 to 86.87 square inches.

Valves

The W70 offers an economical solution to a wide variety of mix proof processing applications. Flow of two different media through the same valve simultaneously, without the potential for mixing, provides increased operating efficiencies and significant production cost savings.

"S" Line Fittings

Face-to-face, quick disconnect style produces a compact joint for closer nesting of lines. Available in 304 and 316L stainless steel in tube O.D. ½" through 8".

Sanitary Butt Weld Fittings

Weld end, sanitary fittings are available in 304 and 316L stainless steel in four finish combinations of polished and unpolished I.D. and O.D. surfaces. Available in 1" through 3" (16 gauge), 4" (14 gauge), and ½" and ¾" sizes.

BPE Fittings for the Bio-Pharmaceutical Industry

"I" Line Fittings

Self-aligning, interlocking sanitary fittings for higher pressure, heavy duty applications. Available in 304 and 316 stainless steel industrial and 316L sanitary in tube O.D. sizes 1" through 8" and pipe sizes 1" through 4".

"Q" Line Fittings

Face-to-face, quick-disconnect style Ferrule Fittings robustly designed for heavy duty applications. Available in 304 and 316L stainless steel in tube O.D. sizes 1" to 4".

Bevel Seat Fittings

Precision engineered for leak-tight performance without gaskets. Sanitary finishes and 304 and 316L stainless steel standard available from 1" to 4" O.D.

Tube O.D. Butt Weld Fittings

Industrial, non-polished fittings. ½" to 6" available for use with light-gauge stainless steel tubing. Can be furnished in T304 or T316L stainless steel for corrosion resistant installations. I.D. or O.D. polish available.

Heat Exchangers

The Votator II vertical unit complements the standard horizontal model.

For more than 60 years, Votator scraped surface heat exchangers have been replacing slow, inefficient batching operations with more uniform, controllable and repeatable continuous processing.  The Votator II incorporates the most popular features of the Thermutator and Votator lines.  The unique hydraulic system on the vertical unit makes inspection easy without the use of tools.

Thermaline® features raise productivity and reduce operating costs. Inlet ports are more free flowing, foul less and lead to longer runs; gaskets and hangar guides save users up to 75% in downtime over conventional plate units; high heat regeneration (over 90%) dramatically reduces operating costs; plate interchangeability from right to left-hand lowers inventory investment.

Dispersion Equipment

These blenders are extremely compact and simple in operation, making them ideal for either continuous or batch processes that require recirculation. Pre- and post-blending are unnecessary in most operations; often eliminating lumping, flooding, or foaming.

Waukesha Cherry-Burrell Products: Shear Pump

Designed for "on-line" continuous shearing and mixing action. A choice of modularly interchangeable stators and rotors make it versatile for processing a wide variety of products. Variable speed drives may also be used to further adjust the shear and mixing affect. Texturizes to give a smooth body and texture to such products as ricotta cheese and food pastes. Emulsifies to make stable emulsions of products with both oil and water base ingredients; blends to provide continuous, on-line blending without air incorporation or lumps of dry product; reconstitutes to assist reconstitution of powdered products such as milk powders; suspends/disperses to give stable solids in liquid suspension; polishes to improve the appearance of products by providing a smoother and more uniform surface texture.

Shearing/mixing forces produce controlled, highly sheared, uniform dispersions and stable emulsions. A wide range of product viscosity may be processed, limited only by the maximum 150 psig (10 bar) inlet pressure. Higher viscosity products are processed at lower flow rates to stay within the pressure limit. Typical applications include salad dressing, mayonnaise, liquid egg homogenization, tomato based
sauces and various personal care products such as lotions and cremes.

Patented high-shear mixing technology that produces uniform, stable emulsions, dispersions and foams. Combines product recycling and shear action that can be "tuned" to produce precise effect desired. Varying rotor speed and controlling back pressure at discharge port determine the number of passes the product makes through the mixing zone. For heat-sensitive products (e.g., eggs, latex), incremental mixing moderates temperature rise.
